Happy April, and Happy Birthday, Buddha

GOOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOOOORNING SANGHA

The Eighth of April is the traditional day to celebrate the Buddha Shakyamuni's birthday in japan, and we at the Lincoln Zen Center, don't much feel like being left out. So we're going to have us a little pot luck. Nothing brings a community together the way eating together does. so on the 14th after our normal service we'll be convening for a little bit of gold old being together. We hope to see you there!
We've been doing more conversations around here lately, and frankly, we're kinda loving it, so starting in April, most Sundays are gonna include a short reading and open discussion after sits and chants, just seems like the right way to build this community up further. If taking on a few of those Sundays interests you let us know! We'd love to hear from you
Speaking of ways to build this community up further, we've got some questions for you, and if you've got the time we'd love to hear your thoughts on the center, our direction, our programming, and what you'd like to see happening around here in the future.
Here's a link: the survey
We appreciate you being around, we thank you for your time, and we can't wait to see you again soon.
